What is the appeal of a campervan?

Campervans are highly recommended for those who love the outdoors and traveling!c
Spending precious time with family and friends in a campervan can create memorable travel experiences quite different from airplanes, trains, and passenger cars.

1. The Ultimate Freedom to Travel
One of the biggest advantages of a campervan is the freedom it offers. With a campervan, you are not bound by schedules and can enjoy your trip at your own pace.
Moreover, when you feel tired from driving, you can comfortably rest inside the vehicle, making it an ideal combination of transportation and accommodation—a true dream space!"

2. Cost Savings
In recent years, hotel prices in Japan have skyrocketed.
With a camper van, transportation and accommodation are combined, making it a highly cost-effective travel option.

3. Traveling with Your Pets
With the growing pet boom, pet-friendly hotels are becoming more popular, but they are still quite limited.
Additionally, traveling with pets via airplanes or trains can be problematic, making it difficult to enjoy your travel experiences with them.
On that note, you can take your pets with you in a campervan and share precious family time with them!

What are the prices for campervan rentals?

Campervans are very attractive, but how much does it really cost to rent one? As expected, the rates are slightly higher than regular car rental rates.

Rates start at 102,000 yen for 3 days and 2 nights (including consumption tax/waiver).
However, as we said at the beginning, the attraction of a campervan is that you can stay overnight in the vehicle. If you think of it as a rental car plus lodging, you can reduce the cost per person considerably.

Gasoline and highway costs will be incurred separately, but if there are six people in the car, each person can travel and stay in the vehicle for 17,000 yen per person.

With the cost of hotels and gasoline soaring, campervan rentals are highly recommended when traveling with a large group!

Travel with your pets!

As we briefly mentioned above, one of the major appeals of campervans is that you can spend time with your pets, which are important members of your family.

Most car rental companies usually do not allow pets onboard, as it is not easy to take them on long train rides. In this respect, a campervan gives you the peace of mind that your pet will be able to spend time with you during your whole journey.

The fee for pet companion options, varies by rental car company, so please inquire at the time of reservation. Please note that you may be charged for cleaning fees if your pet is found onboard without approval of the rental company. We hope you will share your precious family time with your pets and enjoy creating special memories.
