Koriyama Station is Fukushima Prefecture's central infrastructure hub. Besides being a stop of the Tohoku Shinkansen, this station is part of the Tohoku Main Line and the Banetsu East Line, as well as being the terminus for the Suigun Line and the Banetsu West Line.
A gateway to the rest of the prefecture, and a model for eco-friendly stations throughout Japan. Not to be confused with the Fukushima Station in Osaka City.
Located in the city of Sukagawa, Fukushima airport mainly serves northern and central Fukushima Prefecture with flights to and from Osaka and Hokkaido.
