Nippon/Nissan/Times Car Rental: There are reception counters at Narita Airport’s 1st and 2nd terminals. Please be aware that the 3rd terminal has no rental car facilities; if you are arriving at the 3rd terminal, please proceed to the 2nd terminal to pick up your car. Once you have checked in at the reception area, you can depart from the airport parking lot.

Rental car companies will typically provide free shuttle service. Even at airport locations, there will usually be shuttle service from the business office to the airport proper.

The Kanto area does not get as much snowfall as Hokkaido or the Tohoku region; as such, studless snow tires are not part of standard rental car equipment. If you plan to pass through a snowy region during your trip, then you can choose to rent snow tires when you make your rental car booking by clicking the snow tires option. If necessary, you may also send us an inquiry when you make your rental. We will confirm availability and pricing before adding it to your booking.

We also ask that you please drive safely on snowy roads; keep an eye on your speed and do not go too fast.

Up to 5 people can fit into a compact car; however, with 4 passengers, the trunk can only fit 1 large suitcase and 2 smaller suitcases. This being the case, we would recommend the minivan in this situation. That way, you can also go souvenir shopping without worry! We offer various models, including the Toyota Wish or Mazda Premacy.

Please be aware, however, that you cannot select a specific model when you make your booking.
